How to Play Boggle
Goal
Find as many words as possible in the 4×4 letter grid before the 3-minute timer runs out.
Rules
- Select letters by dragging (default) or tapping (Tap Mode).
- Each letter tile can only be used once per word.
- Letters must be adjacent — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
- Words must be at least 3 letters long.
- The Qu tile counts as two letters (Q + U).
Scoring

| 5 letters | 2 pts |
| 6 letters | 3 pts |
| 7 letters | 5 pts |
| 8+ letters | 11 pts |
Streak Bonus
Find valid words in a row to build a streak. Bonus points are added on top of the base score:

Streak resets if you submit a word that is not in the dictionary.
Controls
- Drag mode: Hold and drag across adjacent tiles; release to submit.
- Tap mode: Tap tiles one by one; tap the last tile again (or press Submit Word) to submit.
- Switch modes with the Tap / Drag Mode button.
